August 18, 2007 – 180 calories, 3.5g fat, 32g carbs, 4g fiber (28g net carbs), 18g sugar, 8g protein. The first two ingredients are wheat flour and high fructose corn syrup. Since when is high fructose corn syrup a low-GI ingredient? Since when was 18g of sugar healthy? These were given to me by someone and are not on the diabetic program that I signed up for.

Strawberry is my favorite, but then I was never a big fan of apple.

An Overview Of The Most Popular Weight Loss Programs

Article by Leanne Laker

It makes sense when trying to lose weight to consider picking a weight loss program that can help you achieve your goal. But, with so many weight loss programs to choose from, how can you understand what each offers and which is possibly the best for you? To confuse you further, they use celebrities to try and influence your choice. And yet, which one suits you, really? Here is an objective review of some of the alternatives.

If you want a more detailed article about the most popular weight loss programs reviewed, check out this free information: Weight Loss Programs Reviewed.

WEIGHT WATCHERS WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM

Considered as one of the chic slimming routines, Weight Watchers’ allegations of being able to keep the extra pounds you reduce with them down for the long run have been researched into and proven a number of times already. Provided the instructions are accurately complied with the average performance is eliminating 2 pounds weekly.

The healthy nutrition style they promote via their point system to restrict the calorie intake is what distinguishes them from temporary, exaggerated options. The number of points each food is allocated helps determine what you are allowed to eat per day. This makes it easy to compute the total number of points on any given day. Since the countless options on offer make you feel as if you weren’t even on a diet, you will find it easy to pursue this program.

You can enroll with them for a $ USD20 fee and then pay the weekly fee for members which is only $ USD9. You will meet them weekly for a weigh-in and have the opportunity to get inspiration and discuss how you are doing. They will advise you what to do to eliminate some aliments or replace them with something healthy.

There is a huge array of Weight Watchers branded meals available on the market although you are not required to use them if you don’t want to, in conjunction with the diet. Keeping in mind the number of points recommended, you may choose to cook your food and divide your portions.

When attempting to reduce the extra pounds, Weight Watchers can help with their practical, user-friendly approach. It could be worth considering this program.

SLIM FAST WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM

Slim-fast is a regime offering you most of the daily meals. Sticking with their program that includes healthy snacks like bars, shakes, soups and others, you will see visible results quickly. Each product is nutritionally calculated and balanced and designed to replace two out of your three meals a day. The third healthy meal is left up to you! It’s especially a good program for people who lead hectic lifestyles especially if you have no time and typically turn to junk food for that quick meal.

With this diet you will spend approximately $ USD40 weekly for the meals, and you can expect to lose three pounds in this time frame. You need to watch out for that weight getting right back on when you decide to come off the diet though!

JENNY CRAIG WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM

Thanks to mega stars like Kirstie Allie and Queen Latifah pushing this program, the Jenny Craig program has recruited a vast number of people and its attractiveness continues to grow. The program will provide you with a personalized meal map as well as advice on what sorts of exercises to include and a consultant that will mentor you into recognizing and achieving your weight loss goals.

Your consultant will chat either in person or via the phone when you start the program, along with giving you direction and advice about your goals, strengths and weaknesses. After that meeting, the consultant will prepare the personalized meal and exercise routine to enable you to reach your required destination.

All this has its price, though, since the enlisting payment itself ranges from 0 to 350 dollars to which you need to add the price for the meals, i.e. about 90 dollars weekly. You are allowed to use some of your own food to add to the plan such as fruit and vegetables. Moreover, shifting you to a healthier diet without having the knowledge of how to actually cook it might end up with your extra pounds being put back on when your program is over.

If it fits your budget, you will surely benefit from Jenny Craig’s program and enjoy the time out from the kitchen like so many others have! Jenny Craig stakes the generic claim of assisting with a loss of 1 or 2 lbs a week, dependent upon weight history, suitable exercise and total commitment.

This is it. The reviews dealt with three of the preferred diet options out there. Remember to do your own research and select something that grabs your attention and is affordable for you.

Answer by Shelby Finsterbusch
I honeslty recommend going to the gym an getting a trainer to push you to your max, it’s easy for people to talk themselves out of a diet or excersise but a trainer knows what your body can do and they can help you reach your goal

Do not buy this card for the exercise bike. This card is for Treadmills, Ellipticals, Bikes and Incline Trainers as labeled on the front of the product. Not in the description here on Amazon but labeled on the product itself. Unfortunately they ripped this new card off of their old level 3 ifit card. This level 3 card does not burn even half the calories it says it does. Most of my bikes own programs are much harder than any of the 25 programs this card has. I cannot speak for anything other than the bike programs, my treadmill has ifit but not the card slot. Reviews on ifit’s own site rave about how hard the treadmill workouts are, as they should be for level 3. But not for the bike. BTW, bot a fan of ifit in general. The progression of their products is slow, unreliable, and seems geared towards making you purchase new equipment to use their new technology. My opinion.

It didn’t work. Put the SD card in the machine. She says one sentence, she cuts off and never comes back. Great motivation if you like the silent type.

I purchased a book about Martial Arts, and at the end there was a 12-week workout cycle where the moves that were outlined could be applied, many simple punches and kicks. Believe it or not I’d get an insane Cardiovascular workout this way. It boosted everything from speed, coordination, muscle tone, and I burned off the fat I had accumulated. So I really recommend something like kickboxing without buying a diet plan other than the FOOD PYRAMID which can be found online relatively easily. You will lose weight by adding a cardiovascular exercise this way (which is healthier) and not interrupt what your body naturally needs to survive (also healthier). That is ultimately the optimal method, it just asks for discipline and time.
